    Live at the Royal Albert Hall is a concert recording by American singer-songwriter Beth Hart, recorded in the Royal Albert Hall on 4 May 2018, [4] and released six months after her New York concert album on 30 November 2018 by Provogue in video format as Blu-ray, DVD and digital, and as a live music album on two CDs, three LPs, and as digital.[5] Hart's performance, from belted out songs to intimate piano performance that reduced the 5000 seat venue to the feel of an intimate club, took the audience on a journey of many of her best songs and showcasing her journey through life.[6] Hart dedicated the song "Close to My Fire" to her mother, who was one of the audience members of this concert.[7] As well as putting on a musical tour-de-force, Hart opened up about her life and spun out intimate, off-the-cuff stories as she moved through her set.[8]

    Beth Hart (* 24. Januar 1972 in Los Angeles, Kalifornien) ist eine US-amerikanische Blues- und Rocksängerin.

    Leben und Karriere

    Beth Hart studierte Cello und Gesang an der Los Angeles High School Of Performing Arts, schloss das Studium aber nicht ab.

    Beth Hart (2013)

    1993 trat Hart bei der Castingshow Star Search auf und veröffentlichte im selben Jahr ihr erstes Album. Die 1996 erschienene CD Immortal brachte sie als Beth Hart Band mit Jimmy Khoury, Sergio Gonzalez und Tal Herzberg heraus. Mit dem dritten Album Screamin’ for My Supper und dem darauf enthaltenen Track L. A. Song erlangte sie in den USA einen größeren Bekanntheitsgrad. Gleichzeitig spielte sie in dem Musical Love, Janis die Rolle der Janis Joplin.

    Das 2003 veröffentlichte vierte Album Leave the Light On, auf dem sie ihre Drogensucht und den Entzug thematisiert, kam in Deutschland in einer veränderten Version heraus.

    2007 erschien 37 Days und 2010 das Album My California. Bei Eric Claptons viertem Crossroads Guitar Festival 2013 im Madison Square Garden trat Beth Hart zusammen mit Jeff Beck und dessen neuer Gruppe auf.[1] Ebenfalls 2013 ging sie gemeinsam mit dem Gitarristen Joe Bonamassa auf Tournee.[2]

    Beth Hart ist verheiratet mit Scott Guetzkow[3] und lebt in Los Angeles.
